Mickey's House
Living here in
Ty inherited my father’s ears and I love them. Yes they stick out and yes they may not end up being his favorite feature but I love them. I love that it is a feature I can say comes right from my dad who I love so much. I love that they are different and distinctive. I love that even when he wears a hat they peek out. What I love the very most is when he stands with the sun shining from behind him; they glow. I cannot help but cover him, ears and all, with mommy kisses.
We knew Ethan was a boy before he was born. We knew he was even more active then his crazy big brother. We knew we were in for a whole new rollercoaster of love, excitement and chaos with two boys. We did not however know he would be blond haired and blue eyed! Now he is a little baldy to be sure but his tiny blond fuzz is so cute and although there are times I think it is getting darker it sparkles so blond in the sunshine. My blond sparkly boy!
So I guess all the rambling means I love my boys in the sunshine.
We tried and tried to get a good pic of Ty in his costume but it was not to be. He looked great in his Max costume. He even had a little stuffed "wild thing" to carry along with him thanks to his uncle Todd. Ethan was the cutest turtle we have ever seen. We did a quick round of our block and we were ready for baths and bedtime. Teething turtles can only go so far you know.
